Biography

Studio
Rosenheim is an interdisciplinary artist who has maintained studio practices in New York City, Granada, Spain and presently, in Chicago, IL. Cited in Chicago Tribune’s “Best of 2015”, Rosenheim’s sculpture has also been featured in the Huffington Post, Newcity, Comp Magazine, Chicago Portraits and Artslant. Selected solo and group shows include the Hyde Park Art Center, the Fine Arts Gallery of Northeastern Illinois University, the Anchorage Museum of History and Art, Alaska, The Desert Museum of Art, Palm Springs, California, The Ralph Arnold Fine Arts Gallery of Loyola University, the Koehnline Museum, Des Plaines, IL, Nancy Hoffman Gallery and PS1 of the Institute of Contemporary Art, N.Y, the C.G. Jung Institute, Chicago, Galería Cartel and Galería Verlín in Granada, Spain and The Singer Sweat Shop in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Curate
Rosenheim is founding director and curator of The Bike Room, a contemporary projects gallery in Chicago, where she has showcased forty-two emerging and established artists since 2011.

Educate
Currently associate professor at the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago, lecturer at National Louis University and former director of Painting and Public Arts of ArtSkills, in Evanston, IL, Rosenheim also conducted extensive workshops in mural painting and public art projects for the Shanti Foundation for Peace and other nonprofit initiatives in Chicago. She attended the Ragdale Foundation Residency. Rosenheim holds an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NY. She studied Art and Art History at Skidmore College, NY and the Atelier Neo-Medici in Paris, France.
